Independent Hotel

Established since 1982

From the minute we walked in the door we were made very welcome, like we were long lost friends. The room had everything you needed and the bed was so comfy you didn't want to get out. Breakfast was first class, with plenty of choice. We spent New Year's Eve there and loved every minute. You couldn't wish for kinder more helpful people, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely go back again

My wife booked this hotel for me, while I traveled down the motorway! So didn't know what to expect - I got:- warm friendly welcome; lovely clean room; comfortable airy room(5) great breakfast. What more could I ask for?

The owners were really lovely and made me feel "at home" which was nice, not. Wing at my own house. Very helpful.

I will return - thank you.

This hotel is everything you could want for a break away. Rooms beautifully clean, and warm! Gorgeous bathrooms and one of the best breakfasts have tasted in a long time. The owners were really friendly and the whole place had a lovely vibe. This is now definitely our go to hotel for visiting the area. Looking forward to going back soon.

We stayed at the Tudor Rose because it was so wonderfully located for all of Beverley's attractions. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We opted to have an evening meal in the restaurant. We both chose Polish specialities which were absolutely splendid. The Polish beer was good too. I should point out other menu items are available! The breakfast was first class. We would not hesitate to stay again and no doubt we will.

Really close to Hull Uni, where we dropped our son off, but also right in the center of Beverley where there was a great choice of shops and restaurants as well as the Minster - all within a short walking distance. We also ate one evening at the Hotel and the food was tasty and wholesome. Breakfasts were cooked to order and plentiful. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The only downside was there was no parking so used nearby long stay car park! We will be back.

Exceptional customer care from the owners. Hearty, delicious breakfasts, which included home-made plum jam from the family's trees. Bedroom was lovely, bed very comfortable. We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. Hotel is situated in Beverley, perfectly positioned for exploring the town or for travelling further afield. Would certainly stay there again.

Lovely friendly hotel in a perfect location to see all Beverley has to offer. We were welcomed the moment we arrived and well looked after during our stay. Thank you for making our New Years Eve in Beverley all the more enjoyable.

Look no further than the Tudor Rose if planning a visit to the East Riding. This small family-run hotel with restaurant open to the public is situated in Wednesday Market, close to Beverley Minster, a perfect location for shops and sites.

We had stayed there last year for one night and the Yorkshire branch of the family had joined us for a Christmas dinner. It was so wonderful that we decided to repeat it this year, but staying two nights this time. It was a fabulous weekend and party, with the extra excitement of the Christmas markets this time.

We were warmly welcomed by Jamie and delighted to find we were in the same room as before, with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! The proprietor Caroline made sure everything was just right for us. The meal for eight of us was superb in every way, and the service was friendly and efficient. Caroline has a gentle yet confident approach and the hotel is run calmly and efficiently. I decided that two days' cooked breakfasts wouldn't harm the "diet" and savoured every delicious mouthful. Huge thanks to the super chef!

The Tudor Rose feels like a home from home now, and I know that we will return. You will enjoy it. It's a treat!

We want to add our support to the Ukelele group members who have sung the praises of the staff, environment, food and ambiance of this excellent hostelry. It deserves its reputation as a quality establishment.

We were warmly welcomed and shown to a comfortable well equipped room, en-suite shower room and all the usual soaps, towels etc one would expect. A very comfortable bed with lovely soft fluffy feather pillows and duvet-a really welcome surprise.

The location is perfect to explore the beautiful town of Beverley with no shortage of super places to eat and drink and shop.

Breakfast was fantastic, a super choice but a flexible approach to ordering- I was able to order poached eggs which were not on the menu, but it was no problem and they were perfectly cooked. My husband had one of the most enormous full English breakfasts I've ever seen, excellent quality and also beautifully prepared.

We fell in love with Beverley, if we get the chance to return, we will undoubtedly stay at this hotel!

You couldnt ask for a more convenient location to view the area, a few minutes walk from the town centre, the minster and the train station. We were made to feel so welcome, our rooms were comfy and homely, breakfast catered for all tastes, a perfectly run small hotel. We will be back!

Extremely helpful and hospitable staff. We were made very welcome after a disastrous start to our trip (at a much less hospitable b and b. This hotel is clean, comfortable, warm and much like a 'home-from-home'. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff and situated right in the middle of town. My room was a little small but very well appointed. Reasonably priced too and it's easy to see why it books up so quickly. I didn't have breakfast but it looked really good. Recommended.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Tudor Rose and again I was not disappointed, Caroline made me very welcome and I even stayed in the room that I occupied on my first visit. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms kept clean and tidy. I plan on visiting the area again later on in the year and will definitely be booking a room in the Tudor Rose.

I want to say that I have traveled all around and this is by far the nicest hotel I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. The people that own it are absolutely wonderful and made me feel so welcome. Very clean and the facilities are perfect. Would recommend to everyone and the location is perfect. Can't wait to stay again. Thank you and there is not enough stars on her.

Stayed for one night in this beautiful hotel and received amazing service. All our needs were attended to and we were extremely well looked after. The room was lovely and the breakfast was gorgeous. I have never written a Trip Advisor review before but the hotel and owner were so nice that I felt I must write one to thank them for a great stay. :-)

I booked this hotel for my husbands birthday surprise for 10 of us and right from booking the owners were lovely. On arrival they were so accommodating and gave us all a fantastic service. Well located, lovely rooms, lovely food. Thanks so much :-))

For the size of the town, Beverley has a distinct lack of hotel accommodation with consistently good reviews. Because of this we chose to stay here, The Tudor Rose. The hotel has a proper hotel feel and one of quality. The room we had, number 10 was very spacious and clean, supported by good décor. It is in a great location at the bottom of town in Wednesday market, and two mins away from the railway station. There is no car park, but visitors permits are available to park near the hotel. Breakfast was great, good quality produce and in ample quantity if required. Fantastic hotel, great hosts who do not fuss around you, though they are there if needed. Keep up the good work! My only criticism was no real ale available in the bar, just the big brands, but been in Beverley, a real ale hotspot, no problem.

Had a night away, and stayed at this hotel, brilliant place to stay for a night! brilliant location, owners very welcoming, the room was spacious and cosy, breakfast was good quality. Would definately stay again

The hotel enjoys a prime location in the town centre with shops, restaurants and historic P.O.I all within walking distance. The rooms are of a good size, comfortable and well appointed. Meals are available in its own restaurant and are first class, the breakfasts options including “full English” will set you up for the day. Our next trip to Beverley will see us enjoying their facilities and friendly service.

My husband and I spent 2 nights this week at The Tudor Rose Hotel. We booked the day before and arrived in the dark and wet to a warm welcome by Caroline who found room for our tandem in her private secure courtyard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay especially the Polish Home cooking and the" Pierogi" were to die for. The great breakfast with local produce set us up for a day's cycling. Our room was comfortable and our only small criticism is that the bathroom whilst clean and adequate could do with updating. Jamie & Caroline could not have made us more welcome and we left feeling like we had made new friends. We would certainly recommend this hotel.
